The Mechanics of Pipe Lining and Bursting
Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) or pipe lining
We invert or draw a liner saturated with resin into the old pipe and let it cure. The result is a seamless new pipe within the old one that puts an end to any corrosion, holes, or cracks.
Pipe bursting and boring
A head is used to displace or break the existing pipe as a new one is put in its place. It is a form of replacement that does not require running a continuous trench across the property.
Such methods are ideal when the pipe can be reached from a cleanout or access point and you want to keep disruption to a minimum. But if a line has given way entirely or has a bad sag, making a pull-through impossible, Precision Plumbing will do what is necessary by way of full excavation and repair.
